TESCH Political Communications and Public Relations is a consultancy for public affairs, public relations and crisis communications with offices in Berlin, Cologne and Munich.

The consultancy serves companies, associations and institutions, particularly in the fields of public sector modernisation, digital sovereignty, IT and cyber security, critical infrastructure and other regulated markets.

We advise companies that sell products or services to the public sector and specialise in complex political and regulatory questions. Experienced communications specialists, political advisers, journalists and lawyers work hand in hand with us.

All our advisers have many years of professional experience in international companies, agencies or well-known German media houses. Our political advisers look back on decades of experience in public administration, politics, associations and companies. This composition is deliberate: anyone mediating between business, public administration, politics and the media should know all sides from their own practice.

Henrik Tesch combines experience from public administration, government relations for leading international IT companies and association work. This perspective shapes his advice: assessing complex interests, developing sustainable positions and professionally preparing dialogue with the relevant stakeholders.

Career

Degree in political and administrative science, graduated 1990
1991 to 1999: specialist and management roles at the Ministry for Federal and European Affairs and at the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the State of Saxony-Anhalt
1999 to 2005: responsible for government relations at Cisco Systems Germany
2005 to 2016: Director of Political Affairs and Corporate Citizenship at Microsoft Germany; head of the Berlin office
2020 to 2022: managing director and executive board member of Forum Moderne Landwirtschaft e. V.
Since 2016: own consultancy for political communications and public relations

The combination of administrative practice and government relations allows a realistic assessment of decision-making paths, procurement logic, political priorities and public perception.
